How to Use The Product?
There are two main ways that we recommend melting this product:
- The bain-marie method
1. Chop the required amount of chocolate into small pieces to ensure easier melting.
2. Place the chocolate in the bowl of a bain-marie, making sure the bowl does not touch the simmering water. Gently stir with a spatula until fully melted. The ideal melting temperature is between 45°C - 50°C.
3. Remove the bowl from heat and keep stirring to lower the temperature of the chocolate.
4. Once chocolate has fully melted, check the temperature. The ideal working temperature is between 40°C - 41°C.
1. If using a microwave, first chop the compound chocolate into small pieces to ensure easier melting.
2. Place in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 20-30 seconds intervals, while continuing to stir the chocolate in between each interval to ensure even melting of the chocolate.
3. Repeat for 3-4 intervals or until you achieve a smooth, shiny and silky texture.
